On Sunday 5th July 2020, researchers from SAS, HL7, IMISE from FAIR4Health consortium, and researchers from RDA, performed a workshop about how to measure FAIRness of health datasets using FHIR in the MIE2020 conference organized by EFMI.

This EFMI MIE2020 workshop performed on July 5 16:00-17:00 CET, titled 'FAIR in HL7: New standards for supporting Health Research', co-organized by FAIR4Health project and RDA Reproducible Health Data Services WG, aims to present and review an HL7 exploratory project scope statement on HL7 FHIR ways to deliver FAIR health datasets.

The work taked into account FAIRness indicators, under the FAIR maturity model developed by RDA.

As a result, an HL7 proposed scope statement was co-created.
