FAIR4Health project was invited to contribute to the SICARM 2019 congress by taking part of the session "Big Data in public healthcare"
From October 28, 2019 to October 29, 2019
Kiko Núñez (SAS) has been invited to share the FAIR4Health point of view on this topic in the context of the SICARM 2019 conference: "Digital transformation in the healthcare ecosystem: technological innovation-driven challenges and opportunities".
At present, the large amount of data available in the health field is not being exploited on a large scale for the purpose of improving the system itself and research. In this conference we intend to focus on some of the main questions to advance in this digital transformation of Health: When will big data in public health be? With what guarantees? What is the real viability of the application of Artificial Intelligence to the health field? All this is accompanied by the necessary rethinking of the patient's capacity for participation and control of their own data and clinical history.
